Here at Forster Tuncurry Boarding Kennels & Cattery, we focus on providing a safe and enjoyable stay for your precious pooch. There are two blocks of accommodation (one for small dogs and the other for large dogs), with each block containing indoor and outdoor activity areas, including: 


  • Natural & synthetic grass exercise areas 
  • Sandy exercise areas for pooches to play, explore & dig
  • Exercise yard with agility course & obstacles 
  • Yard with splash pool & deck area for snoozing or introverted doggies

Safe & Comfortable Accommodation

Our canine accommodation is completely undercover and has secure, steel mesh gated fencing, including in the adjoining exercise yards. Each dog sleeps in its own separate kennel, unless you have fur-siblings who wish to share. 


Members of the same fur-family can stay together in one of our larger runs, split into two areas; the back area contains a trampoline dog bed, while the front area is for playing or socialising. You can also organise to pick up your dog for a daily outing. For more information about accommodation on offer, contact our team today.

The Daily Routine

Our daily doggie routine ensures your fur-baby has the right amount of mental stimulation, socialisation, exercise and rest. It consists of:  

  • Hugs & individual morning roam & toilet time while their kennel is thoroughly cleaned & sanitised 
  • Breakfast, including delicious & healthy homemade treats
  • Playtime & socialisation in one of the exercise yards, or agility training with staff
  • Midday nap, accompanied by icy poles or frozen Kongs in the summer
  • Afternoon play session or swim with toys, balls & games
  • Dinner time, followed by evening toilet time
  • Bedtime, cuddles & evening treat

Daily routines and living arrangements can be tailored to each pet, and playdates can be organised within the kennels if requested. 
Our Kennel Prices

We offer a competitive pricing structure, with the following daily rates: 

  • Small dogs (0–9kgs): $37
  • Medium dogs (10–24kg): $39
  • Large dogs (25–44kg): $39
  • Giant dogs (45kg +): $41

If your pet is dropped off in the afternoon, the first day is free. Public holidays incur a $10/day surcharge per pet. 

The Daily Outings

If you’re holidaying in the area and would like your pooch to join you for a day trip, you can organise a daily outing during their stay.
